Alice in the Looking Glass

The creativity and imagination of Walt Disney and Lewis Carrol combine together to form a special children’s delight and a feast of adventures that both adults and children can enjoy over again. Alice in Wonderland is, without doubt an incredibly entertaining movie both in two dimension but even better in 3 Dimension. The characters are so real. One could almost touch the Cheshire Cat’s whiskers or feel Alice’s dress.

Well, what is it about the film that delights, fascinates and entertains? Is it the wonderful characters? Or is it the cute Cheshire Cat, pretty Alice in her beautiful apron or the garden that she travels around in. There are so many entertaining aspects of this classical tale that it makes it difficult to name all of them. Let us have a closer look at the story and the adventures Alice has.

We see that Alice is a cute little girl who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by interesting creatures such as the Cheshire cat. It is in these adventures that she meets a white rabbit and becomes friends with him. She then follows the rabbit down into the hole when she suddenly finds a curious hallway with many locked doors of many sizes. It is from this moment that her true fantasy adventure begins. She then finds a small key to a door that is too small for her to fit through but from which she finds a garden. The garden is where she meets so many people and she finds a bottle. It is upon finding this bottle that, she drinks its contents and then shrinks. She then eats a cake and grows to an enormous size.

It is later in the story that she meets a Mad Hatter and she attends a party with him. This scene is incredibly funny and the Mad Hatter has some really silly tales to tell but he keeps her amused.

As the story continues to unfold, she meets the Queen of Hearts who steals her tarts. She also meets three living cards that she has an adventure with.All in all, the story is one that is both amusing and entertaining. It is delightful but can become a little intense at times. A story for both adults and children alike.It is particularly the characters that light this story up, especially the Cheshire Cat who is so beautiful and almost comes to life.
