Can a Child Really Affect Your Social And Personal Life?
Having a child is probably one of the best things a parent could ever dream of. Not only do they have a solid bundle of joy but having a little one running (or crawling) in the house all day long is also one of the blessings in life. This just brings a smile to each of their faces. But along with it comes so many challenges in rearing a son or a daughter. What about crying in the wee hours of the morning or so late at night? What about when they throw tantrums? What if they are so picky with what they want to eat? Sometimes children are expensive too. They manage to take hold of your credit card- and the only recourse you need to take is to order your credit report to make sure that you still have not exceeded the minimum balance.
Here are other ways that children can influence your life.
Go out to travel- Many parents would rather leave their children behind when they go on a long destination or journey. But for couples who want to bring their kids – or even babies along – there really is not much change but you just need to be on your guard always. You need to be organized with the things your baby needs especially when your baby is awake. Here's a tip: when you book for accommodations, make sure that the dining place is near you so that you don't have to bother with long drives to your favorite restaurant.
Have a social life- Having a social life when you are pregnant is tricky enough. But when your baby is finally born, you need to get yourself organized as well. When you plan to go out with your friends, make sure that you have a trusted family member or friend looking after your child. And when you go out on a shopping spree with your friends, make sure to get your credit report checked before using your credit card. The difference when you finally have a child is the lack of spontaneity – you need to plan things out before you go out with your friends.
Take care of the relationship- Obviously when a baby comes into the picture, your relationship with your hubby may change. You will now have to take care of at least two people – and one of them purposely wakes up in the middle of the night. Here's a tip: Do something fun together such as playing card games, cooking dinner, reorganizing your closet or even reading a book together. Unplug all things electronic.
Look at your finances- Having children is expensive. The clothes, the food, and the school have skyrocketing costs. Make sure that you when the wife is pregnant, you have saved everything that you need. When the child is born, buy stuff that he only needs. When you plan to use your credit card, order your credit report to see if you have exceeded the available balance in your account.
